Family Autumn Walks – Our Perfect Sunday

Sunday’s have resorted back to some form of normality for us, they’re all about getting out and about in the great outdoors. This weekend we set out for a family adventure in the great outdoors, our first proper one since baby Yo arrived. E was incredibly excited as he pulled on his wellington boots and announced that he was ready for puddles – being 3 really is all about the simple pleasures!

It was a windy but dry morning, so we opted for a wooded walk to shelter us from most of the wind, the boys loved running through the wood and exploring the trees.

Of course, it’s not a proper adventure unless you get a little muddy, and both boys made sure they got very muddy..!

The colours of  Autumn leaves were something we’ve been talking about alot with E this week, and he was so excited by the brightly coloured acer trees we discovered!

It really was a lovely Sunday, Yo was carried round all cosy in her Baby Bjorn carrier, while the boys ran, jumped, and laughed. Such a simple Sunday, but a perfect one.

What a perfect way to spend a Sunday, I love all the space and freedom on your walk for the boys to run and play. Watching scenes like this always makes me so greatful of family time. Thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids
