DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos – Review

DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos! Has launched and is available for Switch, XBox, PlayStation 4&5, and PC!

DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos is an open-world adventure game from Outright Games. The mischievous imp from the 5th dimension Mr Mxyzptlk has appointed himself the mayor of the home of the Justice League.

Cosmic Chaos is a family friendly game, which can be played solo or with a friend! We loved switching between characters, either Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman.

Take a look at the trailer to get a look at the bright graphics and characters included from the family favourite cartoon series;

Each of the superheroes has their own power up. The game starts with Superman having laser eyes, Batman a batrang, and Wonder Woman a golden lasso. The game has a map to follow, and objectives to complete. Collect the artefacts and get updated power up, Batman’s drone was one of our most exciting gains!

We thought that the ability to regenerate characters which have taken damage was great fun. It was a really helpful tool to keep younger members of the family motivated and not frustrated at harder parts of the game.

We played this on the Switch lite, and were impressed by the graphics, and the animation during the cutaway scenes. We do think it’s important to remember that this is a cartoon style game!

So, the game has a Pegi rating of 7+ and we think it is best suited to the 8-10 years age range. It is a brightly coloured, fun game which our 8 year old really enjoyed. There were elements which were quite a challenge as the game progressed!

Great family fun!
