After school play dates with Boostapak

Back to school, and like many rural families we are back to the school run mayhem by car. With my sons school several miles away we travel to and from school by car, he has a great car seat which I know keeps him safely secured, but what about when he wants to go on after school play dates? I have in the past found myself leaving a car seat in the school office much to their dismay, but now we have a Boostapak from Trunki which makes after school play dates easier for everyone!

The Boostapak is a great sized backpack which converts into a booster seat for children who weigh more than 15kg. My 6 yr old loves the Boostapak – especially as his is F1 Lotus branded, and so no more Mummy having to carry everything!

The backpack has plenty of room in it for everything your child might need for school and after school too! The football boots shown are size 1, and all his kit fits in the bag with plenty of room left for a drink bottle and snack to – it really is a great size!

Once it is all packed up, the bag easily converts into a booster car seat, lift of the flap, unfold the sides (which fold down with the press of a button for ease when carrying the bag as a rucksack) and pop it on the car seat.

Then you simply use the car seat belt as normal. It’s so easy to use, and saves worrying about where to leave a booster seat or how they will manage to carry it! It definitely makes after school play dates and sharing lifts to after school clubs easier!
