The Milk Confession #Milkdrinkersmilk
I have a secret, when the children are all in bed I sneak to the fridge and grab a bottle of…
Some people like a glass of something stronger, but I like a mug of milk! Let me explain.
A glass of ice cold milk is lovely and refreshing, and my children LOVE a glass with a curly straw, but they’re not so good at sharing. I can hear it now.. “NOOOO Mummy, the cravendale is ours!!” forget the cats, it’s my children you’ve got to be worried about if you want a sneaky swig of their cravendale! At the end of a busy day (especially in the Winter months) I want something which helps me to relax. All the grown ups I know, will admit that the best bit about a cappucino is actually the frothy milk (the caffeine is just a bonus!). So, why bother with the coffee at all?! Take an electric whisk (I don’t have a posh milk frother..but Santa if you’re reading I’d love one) and whisk your milk until it’s frothy, pour into your favourite mug and enjoy with a spoon curled up on the sofa in your snuggliest pyjamas or your evening dress if it makes you happier..(It will).
My hot milk drink is full of calcium and actually lower in calories than many other grown up drinks, what’s not to love? Cravendale is filtered so it gives you a really pure taste, it’s not too creamy – but just right, perfect for drinking! So that’s my milk confession!
