LiteCraft Table Lamp – Review

I have been looking for a table lamp for our living room for a while. I wanted something which was a little unusual. Something to add warm lighting, rather than brightness. Getting the opportunity to review a lamp from Litecraft could not have come at a better time!

About Litecraft

“Litecraft celebrates over 60 years of lighting experience; designing, manufacturing and distributing decorative lighting around the UK. In 1949 we began lighting up your home and we haven’t stopped since.”

They currently have 6 stores in the UK, as well as the website. I found the website easy to navigate, and loved the selection of lighting available. There are some really lovely designs which are more unusual than you might see at a normal retailer.

After a good look around the site, I found a beautiful table lamp bar which I knew would compliment our living room perfectly!

This 5 light ceramic cup table lamp bar, currently reduced from £79 to £29 caught my eye! The design of the lamp means it looks very like a candle holder. So it instantly pleases me, even before I have turned the lamp on! It is perfect for the festive season with all the glitter! But, it will also brighten up our living space once the decorations are packed away come January!

Thoughts on the table lamp bar!

There is no doubting that the lamp is aesthetically pleasing to look at! However, I did find the light switch a little ugly as it is rather modern looking for the style of the lamp. The switch allows you to adjust the brightness of the lamp, and so I suppose this is why it is bulky. It can be very subtle lighting, or really bright, and works well to light up a favourite photograph.

I would have preferred a longer electric lead, but that’s just me! I also failed to notice that the lamp arrives without bulbs, and they are unusual bulbs! But I found them at Tool Station at a great price, so all was well!

I was really impressed with how well packaged the lamp was when it was delivered. It also arrived very quickly!
