Quinny Zapp Flex Plus Review
We have been reviewing the Quinny Zapp flex plus for baby! I should first tell you that we have had a Quinny for each of our children. We like them as they’re quite lightweight, look modern, have plenty of accessories and are good value.
Quinny Zapp Flex Plus – Flexibility
The Quinny Zapp Flex plus is designed for children aged 6 months plus. However, it can be used from birth, with either the carrycot, cocoon or a car seat!
We bought a Maxi Cosi Cabrio car seat, to make the school run nice and simple. The car seat lifts from car to pushchair, without needing to disturb baby, using the adapters included with the Zapp Flex Plus.
I am also aiming to buy the Cocoon to keep baby safe and comfortable when we’re on longer days out. I’ll update with how that works when I have tried it out!
What’s new with the Quinny Zapp Flex Plus and what do we love?
Firstly, the colour ways! More sophisticated colours representing parents style. I adore the pastel shades, a great move away from more traditional primary coloured pushchair!
There is a decent sized shopping basket, big enough for a couple of 4 pint bottles of milk and a loaf of bread. The basket is easy to access and use!
One handed steering! Our original Zapp was a two handed steer. I find I can hold my daughter’s hand while managing to safely push the Zapp flex plus!
Parent or front facing! This was always a negative for us with the old Zapp, it wasn’t parent facing. Now you can choose which way to face your child. Just unclip the seat and turn it around.
The Quinny Zapp Flex Plus will grow with your child. The seat is big enough for my tall 3 year old to comfortably sit in.
It is brilliant if you are space limited in your car! Not many seven seater cars give you a big boot once the 7 seats are in use. The Quinny Zapp flex fits in beautifully In our limited boot space.
Negatives?
I think it is easy to scratch the plastic handle especially if you are hurrying to collapse the pushchair. It is a lightweight pushchair perfect for the town, but unsuited to uneven terrain.
Look out for an update as we get out and about with our Quinny Zapp Flex!
