Gifting a tall friend #oneforyouoneforme
I’m blessed with some fabulous tall fashionable friends! Being tall myself I have some idea what makes it to the top of a tall girls Christmas list! But Long Tall Sally have ensured Christmas shopping doesn’t have to be stressful, with their Christmas gift guide.
#OneForYouOneForMe is a reminder that we can treat ourselves while we’re shopping for others, and so I thought I’d share my favourite items from the Long Tall Sally Christmas gift guide.
One person I love to treat this Christmas is my friend Claire, she is 5ft 11, and a slim size 12. She is going to be enjoying Christmas back in the UK after working at an animal charity in Thailand. She’s still finding it cold, so needs something to look lovely and keep her cosy to!
I love the leather biker jacket as it is ideal for looking stylish day into night, and yet would be nice and cosy to wear. The sequin vest is such a wearable item, and I love the way it sparkles – perfect for the festive season, it wouldn’t look out of place while out Christmas shopping or at the office party. Finally the Soft Hooded Robe, who can resist cuddling up in this after a long day?
For myself I’d choose the Lurex dress as it sparkles beautifully, perfect for entertaining at Christmas or seeing the New Yew in. Let’s face it, Christmas isn’t Christmas without a bit of sparkle in your wardrobe! I’d treat myself to a pair of pyjamas, as new pyjamas are a wonderful treat for the New Year, the Penguin print pyjamas have an adorable print – and the perfect pyjama bottoms with elasticated ankle cuffs for extra cosiness! I’m also dreaming that someone might buy me a gift card for Christmas, as this would be the ideal way to remind me to update my wardrobe for Spring!
