Choosing the right dance style for you.

“Dance is the hidden language of the soul”
― Martha Graham

Martha Graham was not only an inspirational dancer and choreographer who reshaped American dance in the early twentieth century, but also a very wise woman. I really think a good dancer has the ability to communicate so much through the medium of dance.

Whether you just enjoy an impromptu dance in the kitchen while the radio is on, or whether you like something a little more formal, dance can be a great way to keep fit, and express yourself too.

Many people think dancing is not for them as it is too formal, or they don’t want to wear a leotard. But there are so many genres of dance, it’s just a question of finding the right type for you. When I was asked to share this infographic, I was excited as hopefully it will help people to choose the right dance classes for them – or perhaps find an extra class!
