My handbag essentials

Being a working woman and a mum to my three year old child, I mostly tend to lug around a lot of stuff which I consider as my “essentials”! My husband often makes fun of me carrying a huge bag to work or while going out. However, it usually comes handy for me as it is the one-stop solution for everything me and my family needs.

I usually carry along with me a large Chestnut colored leather bag which is very organized. I have separate compartments for work, leisure and baby requirements. This way everything has it’s own place. 

 

Things I carry for work

 

I always carry a tiny notebook with me at all times. This is usually filled with my to-do lists or any ideas that pop into my head. I also keep a few pens and highlighters in this compartment along with my keys and money. I also keep my mobile phone along with a pair of ear phones and a mobile charge. This is mainly because I use my phone a lot to play bingo games online.

 

Things that all moms should carry for their babies

 

The middle compartment is always zipped and is dedicated to my baby girl’s essentials. I always keep two spare nappies, wipes, one spare set of clothes and a little pouch of baby cereal in case of emergencies. 

 

Let’s not forget the make-up!

 

Another section that is relatively smaller than the other two, I use to keep a small hand mirror, lipstick, perfume, hair brush and a few hair bands or clutches. 

 

I am sure all my fellow mummies have their fancies for lovely bags that can accommodate all of their needs perfectly. So whichever your handbag style may be, make sure it has enough space for everything you need to carry.
