The annual Godiva chocolate challenge has returned, this year the task is to create a desert using chocolate, meringue and the colour pink! So get thinking, how will you create the chocolate desert of the year? The event coincides with the launch of the mousse meringue collection, and 10% of the sales from the collection in the UK, will be donated to Breast cancer Now charity.
The competition closes at midnight on 30th September, and finalists will be selected to participate in the final on the 13th October in London, where they will cook for a panel of top judges including William Sitwell and Jean Apostolou (Godiva’s head chocolatier). The winning recipe will be served in Mark Hix’s soho resturant and all four finalists will enjoy a 5* break in Brussels. If that’s not enough to motivate you to enter, for the first 200 entries received before the closing date (midnight 30th September 2015), Godiva will donate £5 to the Breast Cancer Now charity, so it is definitely worth having a go!
