New year New you!
A new year and many of us are making resolutions to do new things for the new year. Like many people, I have a few favourite films. I tend to watch those favourite films quite regularly. I also find myself choosing new films to watch which are really quite similar. So, when challenged to step out of my comfort zone and try watching something a little different I was quite keen.
There are so many amazing films, but sometimes we need a nudge to be brave and try watching something a little different. I was sent the following selection;
FILMS
The films I was sent are real classics, each with quite a violent storyline. These are most definitely grown up films, ones to watch when the children are in bed.
Dirty Harry is a classic Clint Eastwood film. Many of my friends have said they can’t believe I’d never seen! It may be a classic, but I’d never seen it..until now! Huge thumbs up from me, and wow..Clint Eastwood was quite good-looking back in the day! Strangers on a train I would never have picked out for myself, I have actually seen it before but not for a long time! It’s a good one!
Get Carter I found really gripping, definitely one for a Friday evening! I do really like Michael Caine, and in this film he is just fabulous!
Westworld and Goodfellas are on my watch list for the weekend. My husband has never seen those two either, so we are going to have a film night watching them back to back! Pizza and a film is such an easy way for us to have a date night at home, yet we rarely do it! 2017 is the year we make time to spend together!
