Winter Home Entertainment with Blinkbox

The snow has caused lots of chaos over the last few days, and making trips out has been difficult to say the least! Combine this with Mr G and E suffering with a horrendous cold/flu bug and you have a recipe for Boo and I sat wondering what to do for the evening! Blinkbox, kindly sent us some codes to watch movies online, we were very excited! Via the PS3 within minutes I had Ice Age 4 playing! Boo is quite a fan of the Ice Age films and loved seeing ‘the new one!’ we sat watching it on the sofa with a huge blanket and hot chocolate – the perfect way to enjoy a wintering afternoon!

Blinkbox has a great range of films and tv programmes which can be instantly streamed, and there is the option to rent or buy titles – although some e.g. Disney titles are only offered to buy. Price wise, the newest films are £3.49 to rent, and once downloaded you have 30days to first view. Once you have first viewed them, you then have 48hours of first playing them to watch the film as much as you want! This is ideal if you are like me and inclined to fall asleep while watching a film – I seem to take two nights to watch films these days! The best bit about Blinkbox for me is the fact the service is pay as you go, with no subscription I feel I can bring the cinema home without breaking the bank!
