When is the right time to start a family?

I’m sure you’ll agree, choosing to start a family is one of the biggest decisions in life. There were lots of things which I used to think about before having a family! Believe it or not, I was actually quite terrified about the prospect of never being “ready” to become a parent. What if I never felt ready to give up the freedom of being able to lay in, pop out for drinks, or have a holiday during term time?! But, I also vividly remember the first positive pregnancy test, the thrill, excitement, nausea!! Oh, and all the pregnancy books I devoured! (So many books!)

So, I was asked to share this graphic. It’s all about things to consider if you’re trying to decide when is the right to start a family. It’s a handy list, and if you’re at the stage where you’re asking yourself that question, why not grab a piece of paper and answer each of the questions on the graphic. In my experience sometimes writing things down can really help!
