Name That! – Game Review
Like many families, when we’re travelling we’re limited for space, but we need to pack things to keep the children entertained and while screen time is good, nothing beats playing a game as a family. We were sent Name That! by Megableu, which comes in a handy tin, perfect to pop into your handbag or glove compartment.
Name That! Is a simple to play game aimed at 2 players or more, age 6+, the idea is to be answer as quickly as you can something beginning with a certain letter. There are 50 cards, which give 1000’s of possibilities for questions and therefore there’s plenty of play time within the game. The cards are quite thick, so are durable to plenty of play, and the tin they arrive in protects the game well!
The boys did struggle a bit with the game, B (aged 8) did quite well, but still found himself struggling to answer certain combinations, and E (aged 5) only managed the odd card. HOWEVER! Mr G and I found it a great game, and it has been used for family BBQ entertainment, becoming quite competitive amongst the adults! I’m actually rather pleased, as finding games to entertain a family group including lots of adults is often difficult, so Name That is the perfect solution!
