Kids Songs CD – Review & Giveaway

With Christmas just around the corner there will be may families making long car journeys to visit friends or family. Long car journeys with small children can be stressful – especially in traffic! My 3 year old daughter loves to listen to her songs in the car. It’s an activity which isn’t quite so popular with her older brothers! But, it does make the journey easier if she’s happily singing! We were sent the Kids Songs CD to listen to, 3 CD’s of favourite songs! Most are easily recognisable from CBeebies.

Initially my daughter was a little confused as to why she could only “hear the television?” as she looked for where the Clangers should be. But she quickly realised that it was just the music and not the actually programmes. She was delighted that her favourite songs had come along for the journey! Chris and Pui are really popular, I found myself singing along with Wind the Bobbin up – much to the amusement of many school run parents!

While 3 CD’s sounds a lot, it is perfect for ensuring that parents don’t have the pain of repetition! While keeping young children amused for hours! I have to say this CD would also be superb for children’s parties as it is lots of fun!

My son loved to listen to me singing The Sloop John B – probably because it was the only one that i knew the words to. He would stop crying and eventually drift off to sleep by the third verse
